Two major European philanthropy associations to converge into one united voice for the sector – Philea, Philanthropy Europe Association
EFC European Foundation Center and DAFNE Donors and Foundations Networks in Europe together for Philea, a new platform that will nurture a diverse and inclusive ecosystem of philanthropic organisations and support networks in over 30 countries that work for the common good. It will unite more than 10,000 public-benefit foundations that seek to improve life for people and communities in Europe and around the world.
We wanted to create a new hub for people and organizations who strongly believe in philanthropy as a powerful force for positive change. We can’t tackle pandemics, rising inequality or the climate crisis alone. Philanthropy has a key role in supporting innovation and taking risks. Together, we can mobilize the entire philanthropy ecosystem.
